Michael LaMana
With over 25 years of relevant experience in arboriculture, landscape management, and forestry, Mike LaMana is a recognized leader in his field of practice. He founded LaMana Consulting Foresters in 2003, a professional consulting firm that provides expertise in most facets of landscape management, trees, arboriculture, urban forestry, and traditional woodland management planning.

Education & Affiliations
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resource Management (Forestry) from Rutgers University, and a Master of Science degree in Entomology from Oregon State University. He has authored several peer-reviewed, scientific papers.
Mike also serves as Director and Treasurer of the American Society of Consulting Arborists (ASCA), and is a Past-Chair of the NJ Division of the Society of American Foresters (SAF.)

Michael LaMana has been accepted by numerous Courts of Law and Land Use Boards as a testifying expert witness regarding trees, arboriculture, landscape management, horticulture, land use, farmland tax assessment, and forestry in several states, including New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.

Qualifications
Mr. LaMana is serving his second term as Director of the American
Society of Consulting Arborists where he has held the credential of Registered Consulting Arborist with since 2005.
Michael is a New Jersey Licensed Tree Expert (LTE) and an Approved Consultant Forester credentialed by the NJ Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) to handle matters related to New Jersey farmland tax assessment. Mike is also Licensed Tree Expert and Licensed Professional Forester in the State of Maryland, and is a a Certified Forester with the SAF.
Other professional credentials held include the Board-Certified Master Arborist with a Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ) with the International Society of Arborists.
